Cross-country skiing in the Region Seefeld
Tyrol's snow-sure high plateau is ideal for cross-country skiing: instead of narrow valleys, an expansive high plateau opens up between the Alpine peaks at 1,200 meters. A good 245 kilometers of cross-country trails for all levels of ability connect the five villages of Seefeld, Leutasch, Mösern, Reith and Scharnitz in winter – from the leisurely pleasure round through the Leutascher Hochtal to professional top-class sports in the Seefeld Sports Arena. And thanks to our own ski roller track, biathlon and cross-country training even runs in summer.
Our cross-country ski trails are groomed extra wide and perfectly prepared for skating and classic every day – for a refreshment, simply head to the next hut! Where you are not standing with one step in the track, you simply use the public transport throughout the region, because on the entire plateau the cross-country skiing ticket is also valid as a bus ticket! And if you're looking for some relaxation afterwards, you'll find the best wellness facilities in the region.
Start of the cross-country skiing season: The snowfarming trail in Leutasch will open on the 22.11.2024, weather permitting.
