In pure nature, it's easy to take a break from everyday life, just breathe deeply and enjoy the beautiful landscape. Whether on your own along given GPX routes in open terrain or in a guided group: snowshoe hiking is an experience in itself.

In winter, numerous guided snowshoe hikes are offered in the region's experience shop. The guides know the most beautiful places and idyllic routes adapted to the current snow conditions.

Good personal preparation and the right equipment are particularly important when snowshoeing. The current avalanche situation report must be observed on every tour in open terrain. The SOS EU-ALP app developed for emergencies in the mountains is also recommended. The equipment for snowshoeing is offered for rent in the numerous sports stores.

Respect for nature and the environment: The mountains offer a valuable space for movement in unique nature. Enjoy this freedom but also be considerate of wildlife, respect feedings and protected areas and do not enter reforestation areas. You can find more information here.
