Hütten geöffnet im Winter
On the snow-covered edge of the forest between Seefeld and Mösern lies the cosy Seewaldalm (only open in winter). At 1,230 metres above sea level, the rustic hut offers winter guests at the Seewald lift not only a direct lift connection to the Seefeld Gschwandkopf, but also cross-country skiers* can start on the B1 cross-country trail (classic & skating) directly at the alpine pasture. If you arrive with your own car, there are also plenty of parking spaces at the Seewaldalm.
It is up to you to decide whether you want to go to the snow paradise of the Seewaldalm on the perfectly groomed slopes of the family mountain Gschwandtkopf or whether you prefer to strap on your cross-country skis. Some winter hiking trails also lead directly from the alpine pasture to Mösern, Seefeld or into Reither Auland. But you should not miss the delicious stop at the Seewaldalm in winter, because from the traditional schnitzel to the classic goulash soup and the steaming mulled wine, the cuisine here is nothing but real treats. Afterwards, you can enjoy a short break on the cosy sun terrace or treat yourself to a revitalising schnapps to get in the mood for well-being.
