Free mobility in the Region Seefeld
The Karwendelcamp Scharnitz is a cosy campsite that was newly opened in 2008. It is located in the idyllic village of Scharnitz, nestled in the picturesque Seefeld region, around 25 kilometres from Innsbruck and 100 kilometres from Munich. Here you can spend the most beautiful days of the year with your caravan, camper or tent.
In summer, the Karwendel Alpine Park, the largest nature reserve in the Northern Limestone Alps, and the Seefeld region offer a wide range of leisure and sports activities. The campsite has its own bike hire and ample parking facilities. Explore the Alpine Park on foot, by bike or paddle a kayak along the wild and romantic upper Isar.
The cross-country ski trails in the Seefeld region are just a two-minute walk away. With 266 km of perfectly groomed trails, the region was once again voted the best cross-country skiing area in the major ADAC test in 2009. The beautifully designed sun terrace invites you to relax.
