All awards of the Seefeld Tourism Association in 2023

The Region Seefeld has cleaned up big time in 2023! The Seefeld Tourist Association was awarded the Austrian Ecolabel for its sustainable efforts. In addition, the Tourist Association Seefeld received the Tirolerin Award for regional value creation. The tourist association's innovative mobility projects were awarded both the VCÖ Mobility Award Austria and the VCÖ Mobility Award Tyrol. The Seefeld region was also awarded the Austrian Hiking Seal of Quality for its outstanding hiking offers. Another highlight was the 1st place in the 1000things Austria ranking, which emphasised the region as one of the most beautiful places in the country.

We are proud bearers of the Austrian Eco-label. This means that we are committed to fulfilling an ambitious catalogue of criteria for our region and to having our measures regularly monitored and checked for their feasibility.

We are pleased to have received the TIROLERIN Award 2023 in the category Tourism & Regional Value Creation. This Award 2023 is a tribute to the restless movers and shakers of Tyrol, and we are very proud to count ourselves among them.

We are proud winners of the VCÖ Mobility Award Austria 2023 in the category 'Mobility Management'. In June 2023, we launched our mobility offensive: Travellers who travelled in an environmentally friendly way and booked at least five nights in regional accommodation were reimbursed for their travel costs until a budget of € 60,000 was exhausted. We also introduced a new, free and well-planned mobility concept for 'last mile' travel and on-site mobility.

We are proud winners of the VCÖ Mobility Award Tyrol 2023 in the category 'Exemplary Project'. Our innovative project 'Freifahrt ins Urlaubsglück' has set new standards. To promote environmentally friendly travel by train or bus, we offered holidaymakers financial support for their travel costs. We have set aside a total budget of € 60,000 for this purpose.
We are pleased to bear the Austrian Hiking Quality Seal, which honours areas, villages, hosts and hiking trails that make hiking a special, nature-oriented experience and turn the motto of the hiking partnership "The Magic of Walking" into reality.
We are proud to have achieved first place in the 1000things Austria ranking. This annual ranking recognises the most beautiful places in Austria that impress with their variety of excursion options, cultural offerings, recreational value, culinary delights and sustainability.
