Clean Up Plateau Challenge in the Region Seefeld
"Leave nature cleaner than you found it!": The 3-day Clean Up Plateau Challenge will once again take place from Friday to Sunday on the Seefeld Plateau.
Important information:
- WHEN? Daily from 26. - 28.04.2024
- WHERE? At all public locations in the Region Seefeld.
- HOW? No registration required, please bring your own gloves. Rubbish bags can be obtained throughout the entire period from the following locations: The Tourist Board building yards in Seefeld and Leutasch, as well as the council building yards in Seefeld, Scharnitz, and Reith. Once filled, the rubbish bags should be returned to the respective building yards. Upon returning the rubbish bags, please fill out and affix a sticker with your personal data (name and email address) to the bag. This will enable us to properly allocate the rubbish bags to the collectors.
Waste collection points
Participants can drop off the collected rubbish at the following locations:
- Tourist Association building yard Seefeld
- Tourist Association building yard Leutasch
- Seefeld council building yard
- Reith council building yard
- Scharnitz council building yard
Reward for your commitment
Every participant who collects a minimum of 5 kg of rubbish within 3 days will receive a gastronomy voucher worth € 15.00 from the Seefeld Tourist Board to be redeemed in establishments on the plateau (max. one voucher per person, valid until 31.10.2024). If you return bags that are less than 5 kg, but we can see that a lot of rubbish (e.g. plastic, cigarette butts) has been collected, a voucher will be issued.
All vouchers will be sent out by mail the week after the Clean Up Challenge.
IN ADDITION TO THE CLEAN UP PLATEAU CHALLENGE
Clean Leutasch Valley campaign
The building yard of the council of Leutasch, in cooperation with the Seefeld Tourism Association, is once again organizing a general clean-up of the entire Leutasch Valley on Saturday, the 27th of April 2024, at 7.30 am at the Leutasch fire station in Kirchplatzl.
All village residents, including non-association members, are cordially invited to participate in the general clean-up to ensure that the Leutasch Valley is presented clean after the winter season.
Participants will be divided into teams to tackle individual sections and will bring the collected rubbish back to the fire station. Following the cleanup, a small snack will be provided at the fire station.
To streamline the waste collection campaign, a map will be available at the Leutasch municipal building yard. Participants can mark the areas they have already cleaned, optimizing collective efforts and preventing duplication of work.
