The Karwendel Nature Park is the largest nature park in Austria and the largest protected area in Tyrol, known for the Großer Ahornboden and the Isar spring. The latest expansion now also includes the Arnspitze nature reserve around Leutasch. The Nature Park's work focuses on nature conservation, recreation & tourism, environmental education and knowledge & research, but there is also a colourful programme of lectures and excursions at the Nature Park Info Centre in Scharnitz!

The traveling exhibition of the Garmisch-Partenkirchen District Association for Horticulture and the Tyrolean Horticultural Association invites you to discover the fascinating world of historical fruit trees and varietal treasures from the Alpine region. Dive into exciting stories, learn more about the ecological value of traditional orchards, and be inspired by regional artworks and historical tools!
No registration required, free admission, event in German only!
