The Karwendel Nature Park is the largest nature park in Austria and the largest protected area in Tyrol, known for the Großer Ahornboden and the Isar spring. The latest expansion now also includes the Arnspitze nature reserve around Leutasch. The Nature Park's work focuses on nature conservation, recreation & tourism, environmental education and knowledge & research, but there is also a colourful programme of lectures and excursions at the Nature Park Info Centre in Scharnitz!

Experience an educational herb walk in the natural garden, where you will dive deep into the world of native herbs. Afterwards, you can participate in a small workshop to create your own herb spread and receive practical tips on using the plants for healthy preparations. This is an ideal evening for anyone wanting to learn more about herbs and their proper use, expertly guided by herb expert Johanna Krug.
