The Karwendel Nature Park is the largest nature park in Austria and the largest protected area in Tyrol, known for the Großer Ahornboden and the Isar spring. The latest expansion now also includes the Arnspitze nature reserve around Leutasch. The Nature Park's work focuses on nature conservation, recreation & tourism, environmental education and knowledge & research, but there is also a colourful programme of lectures and excursions at the Nature Park Info Centre in Scharnitz!

Dragonflies are fascinating insects and true masters of aerial acrobatics! With their iridescent colors, they capture everyone's attention and also serve as important indicator organisms for the health of our water bodies. In this lecture, you will learn about typical native species, their behavior, and their ecological significance.
No registration required, free admission, event in German only!
