Gaistal- parking, public transport & starting points

The romantic Gaistal valley in Leutasch in Tyrol, where the beauty of untouched nature still characterises the landscape, extends from Oberleutasch-Klamm westwards into the alpine world between the Mieminger chain and the Wetterstein mountains. The central starting point for hikes to the managed alpine pastures and the numerous mountain huts and shelters are the five car parks between Klamm and the end of the public road at Salzbach. At the hikers' car park (P4) you will find the idyllic Salzbach natural Kneipp facility.

In addition the Bus-Line 433 (Seefeld - Leutasch/ Weidach - Gaistal) operates from July to October and from December to March. The guest card PlateauCard is valid as public transportation ticket on this line. Otherwise, the VVT tariff guidelines apply for this route (more info here).
