The 58th Ganghoferlauf will take place from 01.03. - 02.03.2025 in Leutasch and is also serving as the European Ski Marathon Championships!
The European Championships will take place in the following competitions: Classic 25 & 50 km, Skating 22 & 42 km, Combined (overall Men & Women) as well as in the team classification Men, Women & Mixed. In addition, there will be the Mini-Ganghoferlauf and the new 10 km Fun Race in free technique, in which no European Championships will take place.
European Championships team competition: The team competition takes place in the 22 km skating race. A team consists of 3 or 4 people. The best 3 times of the team will be taken into account for the classification, but of course the entire team of 4 will be honoured. Mixed teams: In the mixed competition, there is a rule that a maximum of 2 times per gender are counted - i.e. 2 women and 1 man or vice versa. All participants may take part in a maximum of one team competition.
10 km Fun Race: The new format is intended for amateur athletes and teams, friends and companies and the focus here is not on performance but on fun. The overall first place winners (trophies) and the largest teams will be honoured. Great prizes await the 3 teams with the most finishers. Minimum year of birth is 2009, reduced starting fees for age groups 2008 & 2009.
Be aware: Littering along the course outside the designated littering zones at the refreshment stations as well as the usage of fluor wax will result in disqualification!

Start groups
1st starting block:
Entitlement for the 1st starting block is for skiers with FIS points (only with pre-registration) and without exception only for the following participants from the overall result list:
42 km skating: the first 40 men and 10 women of the last 3 years
22 km skating: the first 40 men and 15 women of the last 3 years
25 km classic: the first 25 men and 10 women of the last 3 years
50 km classic: the first 25 men and 5 women of the last 3 years
2nd starting block:
Is intended exclusively for Euroloppet starters as part of the advantage pass.
3rd starting block:
Is reserved for all other athletes.
10 km Fun Race:
The starting area opens 20 minutes before the start at 08.40. The starting line-up will be organised by the staff on site.
