Notes for participation
The Int. 3 Day Unicorn March is not a competitive event. Therefore there is no timekeeping and no target times. Each participant accepts the announcement and the guidelines of the ÖVV. Furthermore, the participant agrees to comply with sporting and environmental principles.
Parking spaces
Available in sufficient numbers at the ErlebnisWelt Alpenbad Leutasch as well as at the sports ground Leutasch. Please follow the instructions of the staff on site if a parking lot is already full.
Starting cards
Start cards will be issued on Thursday from 10.00 am - 9.00 pm and on Friday from 6.00 am in the Festhalle Wetterstein / ErlebnisWelt Alpenbad Leutasch. The completely filled out starting cards must be carried along during the hike for stamping at the checkpoints. Only one start card will be stamped per participant. No award will be issued for unclaimed start cards, nor will the entry fee be refunded.
Insurance
Is the responsibility of the participant. The organizer assumes no liability for illness, accidents, theft and the like. The organizer has liability insurance through the ÖVV. You are welcome to take out insurance through the European Travel Insurance.
Weather and hiking equipment
You never know what weather to expect in Tyrol in September. In late summer it is usually quiet sunny, but a few rainy and cold days can not be ruled out. So be prepared for unpredictable weather and rapidly changing conditions! Sturdy mountain boots are a must in our alpine region. Light but warm jackets are recommended for cooler days and chilly mornings. If you get caught in the rain, a water-resistant jacket should also be in your backpack.
Pictures/videos at the venue
It is pointed out that photos and/or videos will be taken at the venue and may be published for purposes of documentation and/or promotion of the event.
