Above the Ahornboden, deep in the heart of the Karwendel Nature Park, lies the Binsalm. Around the active alpine pasture (over 200 hectares of pastureland with dairy cows and young livestock), an unparalleled panorama of peaks stretches over ancient forests that show off a magnificent play of colours in autumn. In summer, the refuge also offers overnight accommodation at 1,500 metres above sea level - an ideal starting point for family hikes and extended (e-)bike and mountain tours. Hungry hikers can expect homemade specialities from Tyrolean cuisine, children are in good hands in the petting zoo and on the playground, and there are even deckchairs on the sun terrace for a digestive nap. Meanwhile, e-bikes can also be charged at the Binsalm with their own charger. From mid-May to the end of October, the Almwirtschaft is also available for private parties; the Larcher host family asks for reservations in good time.

OVERNIGHT STAY
