Requirements: good physical condition, surefootedness Equipment: sturdy ankle-high hiking boots with treaded soles, weatherproof clothing, daypack, spare clothing/change of underwear, headgear, gloves, possibly hiking poles, sunglasses or snow goggles, sunscreen, food (plenty of drink), personal medication, money in case of a stop.

For snowshoe hikes additionally: snowshoes, telescopic poles (can be rented in the Seefeld sports stores)
