Right next to the idyllic restaurant Ropferstub'm you can find a small mountain farm museum. Around 70 historic farming items from the 19th and 20th centuries become contemporary witnesses in the so-called "Tenne", telling the stories of our ancestors and providing insights into mountain farming life. Historical tools and implements from agriculture, forestry, iron processing and the household show in a fascinating way how demanding and dispensable daily life was at 1,200 metres above sea level. In addition, you can also learn some exciting stories from the times of the smugglers at the Ropferstub'm in the Mountain Farm Museum.
Upon reservation, the short film "Mountain Farming in the Ötztal" is also shown from 2:30 p.m.. Voluntary donations for the maintenance of the mountain farm museum are welcome.
You can enjoy the fantastic view from the sun terrace over the Inn Valley, the children's playground and the Kneipp facility rend the Landgasthof Ropferstub'm with its mountain farm museum a great destination for the whole family.
Please note that the museum is also closed on the resting days of the Ropferstubm.
