fresh shine
Light installations - Lichterpark Seefeld
From the 1st November 2024, to the 6th January 2025, the Kurpark, Village Square, Seekirchl, and Sledding Hill in Seefeld will shine daily from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., illuminated by enchanting light installations.
As the Christmas market in the historic town centre is also just around the corner, you can take a particularly pleasant stroll through snow-covered Seefeld. And because the delicacies, shops and stalls up here are so inviting to taste, the use of the buses and regional train is highly recommended.
Careful handling of light emissions, a long service life for the LED lighting fixtures used and low energy consumption were given priority in the implementation of the project.
Experience the Magic of Early Winter on Tirols Hochplateau
From ice skating and peaceful walks through the beautifully lit village center to the magical light park and romantic horse-drawn carriage rides – starting mid-November, a diverse and festive experience awaits you in a unique atmosphere.

Light installations - Lichterpark Seefeld
Münchner Straße 34, 6100 Seefeld
DISCOVER SEEFELD'S WINTER WONDERLAND
Light installations in Seefeld
Experience Time Anew
Hexx Øne
Can we measure and perceive time in a different way? Clocks dictate our rhythm, both socially and culturally. We sleep, breathe, and live always in the tempo of time. But what is the true rhythm of time?
Does time ever pause? And what do clocks dream of when they sleep?
Hexx Øne is a modular light installation consisting of 12 hexagonal arches and 7200 powerful RGB LED lights. The hexagon, thanks to its high efficiency, is one of the most important geometric shapes in nature, as seen in the construction of honeycombs by bees.
Visitors can enter the installation space and view it from various perspectives, allowing their subjective visual and auditory experience to either accelerate or slow down.

Windows to the Unknown
Infinity Portals
Glowing windows float in the darkness, carving seemingly endless corridors into the park. Where do they lead?
An infinity that invites dreams of indescribable places or parallel worlds, whether at the end of the corridor or elsewhere entirely. Who wouldn’t want to step through a portal sometimes to discover a new world at the end of the path?

Connect Four
A playground for young and old: Awaken the child within you, develop strategies, laugh, and play Connect Four under the open sky – digitally and interactively.
The player who first aligns four light points of their color wins. With the help of your feet, you can throw the light stones to the desired spot.

Atmospherically Lit Pedestrian Zone
Light Motifs Around Seefeld
Visitors to Seefeld can enjoy an impressive variety of light motifs, not only in the Light Park but also in the charming Pedestrian Zone. Fascinating light installations create a magical atmosphere here as well. A special highlight is the Fir Tree by Peter Rimark (Slovakia), placed near the Olympiabad (public pool), whose clean, modern lines convey a peaceful, festive mood. The two swings, also close to the Olympiabad (public pool), invite you to playfully experience the winter landscape, blending harmoniously into the scenery. Additionally, a lit-up cross-country skier in the Pedestrian Zone delights visitors, perfectly reflecting the spirit of Seefeld as a renowned cross-country skiing region. All these light motifs and more await you in Seefeld's Pedestrian Zone and Light Park, where a sparkling atmosphere warms the heart.
