fresh shine

Light installations - Lichterpark Seefeld

From the 1st November 2024, to the 6th January 2025, the Kurpark, Village Square, Seekirchl, and Olympiabad in Seefeld will shine daily from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., illuminated by enchanting light installations.

As the Christmas market from 29.11.2024 to 06.01.2025 in the historic town centre is also just "around the corner", it makes for particularly beautiful walks through snow-covered Seefeld. And because the delicacies, shops and stalls up here are so inviting to taste, the use of the buses and regional train is highly recommended.

Careful handling of light emissions, a long service life for the LED lighting fixtures used and low energy consumption were given priority in the implementation of the project.

Experience the Magic of Early Winter on Tirols Hochplateau

From ice skating and peaceful walks through the beautifully lit village center to the magical light park and romantic horse-drawn carriage rides – starting mid-November, a diverse and festive experience awaits you in a unique atmosphere.

Infinity Portals

Glowing windows float in the darkness, carving seemingly endless corridors into the park. Where do they lead?

An infinity that invites dreams of indescribable places or parallel worlds, whether at the end of the corridor or elsewhere entirely. Who wouldn’t want to step through a portal sometimes to discover a new world at the end of the path?

Connect Four

A playground for young and old: Awaken the child within you, develop strategies, laugh, and play Connect Four under the open sky – digitally and interactively.

The player who first aligns four light points of their color wins. With the help of your feet, you can throw the light stones to the desired spot.

The Hare by Peter Rimark (Slovakia) captures the playful grace of nature with soft, warm white to brilliant white light accents. The Fox by Carolin Wolters roams the winter landscape with glowing fur, enchanting visitors with its mystical and playful presence. The Deer by Peter Rimark glows in warm white light, embodying the quiet beauty of winter nature with its graceful posture.

Experience Time Anew

Hexx Øne

Can we measure and perceive time in a different way? Clocks dictate our rhythm, both socially and culturally. We sleep, breathe, and live always in the tempo of time. But what is the true rhythm of time?
Does time ever pause? And what do clocks dream of when they sleep?

Hexx Øne is a modular light installation consisting of 12 hexagonal arches and 7200 powerful RGB LED lights. The hexagon, thanks to its high efficiency, is one of the most important geometric shapes in nature, as seen in the construction of honeycombs by bees.

Visitors can enter the installation space and view it from various perspectives, allowing their subjective visual and auditory experience to either accelerate or slow down.

Tears of hope

Tears of hope

Ice Pearls

In the area where the Wildsee is located today, there once stood a single small wooden house, inhabited by a young widow. She was poor and helpless, sitting in front of her house every morning, shedding tear after tear. Her tears froze into tiny ice pearls and rolled to the ground. Just when the widow had lost all hope, an angel appeared and granted her dearest wish. At that moment, all her shed tears flowed out of the ground and flooded the valley, where the Wildsee then formed.

The Ice Pearls installation in the Lichterpark is intended to remind people that one should never lose hope in their dearest wish.
