Music days of the Region Seefeld
A new bang: 16 years of music days in the Seefeld region.
Rudens Turku, the "man in the fire" behind the music days of Seefeld 2024:
There may be some excellent violinists, but there is only one Rudens Turku. Inappropriate adulation? No, because the 45-year-old artist is not merely a globally celebrated musician and sought-after pedagogue, but what is called a "doer." Someone who burns for his cause. A man in and under fire. Considering his extremely busy concert schedule as a soloist, the direction of several festivals and 250 young musicians from all over the world sponsored each year, this is certainly no exaggeration.
In the past 15 years, the music days of Seefeld, at which internationally renowned university professors and "rising stars" of the classical music scene are guests every year in August, have developed brilliantly. They are a solitaire in the festival scene. What once began with six course participants is now one of the best-known and most important summer academies throughout Austria.
For the young up-and-coming artists, the international music days are an important springboard for further musical development, consolidating their personal style and gaining extensive stage and concert experience.
It is certain that Turku will open the 16th season of the music days of Seefeld on August 1st with a magnificent "Night of Classics", followed by further concerts for the public - with the participation of the international prize winners as well as all master performers. One can look forward to particularly intense musical experiences.
For the 16th time, an international musical elite will gather in Tyrol: in master classes, top-class music academy lecturers who are active or perform all over the world will meet future "rising stars" of the classical music scene and accompany these approximately 125 young talents both artistically and personally as mentors. The heart of the festival is, of course, the prestigious orchestra, chamber and solo concerts. Their reputation has spread far beyond Austria's borders. They have become real crowd pullers.
