Sound of Seefeld - Region Seefeld

On a journey of thought with the Sound of Seefeld

Region Seefeld now also becomes worth listening to thanks to innovative campaign.

Sounds of nature to relax or even help you fall asleep are very much in vogue and have a positive effect on the human psyche, which is often stressed by everyday life. The Region Seefeld stands for an authentic holiday experience with real retreats and unique nature. Together with the agency -stoff-, those responsible at the Seefeld Tourism Association took this combination as an opportunity to stage a campaign that is very atypical for tourism regions – the Sound of Seefeld.

The focus of the communication is not on embellished holiday pictures or countless kilometres of cross-country ski trails and slopes, but on the various genuine sounds of nature in the region, which were captured and have been available to listen to and experience as a playlist or album on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music and YouTube since the end of February.

At the start of the campaign, sounds were recorded for the winter album, including a one-hour winter hike at 1,200 metres, a cosy crackling open fire in the Stub'n or the murmur of the mountain stream of the Leutascher Ache.

"The Sound of Seefeld helps people wind down and encourages them to come up to our sunny plateau on their next holiday. Those who have never been to Seefeld can get inspiration in this way about how relaxing it is here in the region. And all those who have already been a guest in Seefeld one time or another can recall the relaxing feeling of their holiday wherever they are," says Elias Walser, managing director of the region.

The individual soundscapes were recorded to sound particularly spatial and real. On radio and digital, 50- and 30-second audio spots consisting only of nature sounds bring calm to the often hectic commercial breaks. The Sounds of Seefeld are promoted via Facebook, Instagram, Spotify, YouTube and the newsletter, as well as in print and out of home, including in Berlin.
