The private Plumsjochhütte refuge is located at 1,630 metres above sea level between Ahornboden and Achensee, nestled in the breathtaking landscape of the Karwendel Nature Park. From the beginning of May to the end of October, hikers and (e-)bikers can expect hearty Tyrolean cuisine and a total of 28 sleeping places (rooms and mattress dormitories) at the hut in addition to the wonderful view. Bicycles can be stored and locked away, and there is also a charging facility for e-bikes with its own charger.

OVERNIGHT STAY
During the warm summer months you can also spend the night at the Plumsjochhütte, even e-bikes can be charged overnight, but you have to bring your own charger. For up to 28 people, simple camps and a limited number of room beds are available at the refuge, so timely reservation is absolutely requested!

STARTING POINT
The Plumsjochhütte can be reached either from the car park at the Alpengasthof Gern Alm on the Achensee or from car park no.8 at the Hagelhütte in Hinterriß. If you are travelling by mountain bus, get off at the Hagelhütte bus stop in the direction of Eng and make your way up directly from there.
