The perfect place to find your skiing feet in the region
Thanks to the brand-new snow-making facilities, superb snow conditions are virtually guaranteed from the beginning of the winter season right through to spring. The two ski areas, Geigenbühel and Birkenlift, are easy to access just metres from the road.
The Birkenlift ski area is located on the main Leutasch road, opposite the Camp Alpin camping site and close to the riding stables. The pistes, which are served by the two Birkenlift Seefeld drag tows, are suitable for beginners and those with a little skiing experience.
The Geigenbühel ski area, which can be accessed directly from the Birkenlift area, is located beside the main Seefeld road, Münchner Strasse, and is easy to reach by car.
During the first day or two of skiing the two Magic Carpet conveyor-belt lifts are ideal, after which the drag tows take skiers up a little higher. This small, compact ski area is perfect for families and is interconnected with the Birkenlift ski area that leads to the other side of the hill.
