Framed by the impressive Wetterstein mountains and the majestic Hohe Munde, Sounds of the Leutasch Valley is a special event that uniquely combines nature and music. Under the motto “singing and hiking" alpine songs fill the air amidst the Tyrolean mountain landscape – accompanied by inspiring hikes through the Leutasch Valley.

Wild Herb Hike with Song
Thursday, 28.08.2025
10:00 – approx. 14:30
Meeting Point: 09:45 at Munde Parking Lot in Moos (P18)
A gentle wild herb and nature hike through the Katzenloch, engaging all the senses. Along the way, we’ll stop at various scenic spots (Patzl'n) to try out new songs. We’ll round off the experience with lunch in the Oberleutasch area.
Singing and Hiking on Alpine Meadows
Friday, 29.08.2025
10:00 – approx. 16:00
Meeting Point: 09:45 at Salzbach Parking Lot in Gaistal (P5)
A shared hike to the Hämmermoosalm. Surrounded by blooming alpine meadows and with stunning views of the Hohe Munde, we’ll sing traditional songs together. Food and drinks are available at the alpine hut.
Hiking & Singing in Unterleutasch
Saturday, 30.08.2025
10:00 – approx. 14:30
Meeting Point: 09:45 at the parking area by Gasthof zur Brücke in Burggraben, Unterleutasch
A gentle hike through the wide-open fields of Unterleutasch, where we’ll pause here and there to sing together. On the way back, we’ll visit the church of St. John the Baptist and sing a few songs in this special setting. We’ll return to the starting point and end our singing weekend with a cozy get-together at Gasthof zur Brücke.
Bad Weather Option: In case of rain, we’ll sing at the music pavilion in Weidach. Short walks around the Weidachsee are still possible.

Vinzenz Arnold – Choir Director & Vocal Coach
An experienced choir director from the Ötztal region and vocal coach of the renowned Wiltener Sängerknaben, Vinzenz leads the musical programme with great passion. In a relaxed atmosphere, participants learn and sing traditional alpine songs together.

Monika & Hans Bantl – Nature & Hiking Experts
Monika and Hans accompany the hikes, sharing their deep knowledge of the Leutasch Valley’s flora and fauna. With their warm and welcoming nature, they offer fascinating insights into the alpine environment and ensure an unforgettable experience. Find out more about Monika and Hansi here.
