A delightful stroll through the Leutasch Valley
Leutasch Farm Shop Tour
Creamy fresh cheese straight from the farmer, fresh organic free-range eggs from the farm, and meat from Highland cattle that graze on wide meadows: this is how quality tastes at its best. Directly from the farmer, honest, without long detours. In the five villages of the Seefeld region, there are over 60 regional producers who sell directly to customers. On the Leutasch Farm Shop Circular Hike, you can discover nine of them. This approximately 10-kilometer-long route takes you on a relaxed walk through the picturesque hamlets of the Leutasch Valley, passing traditional farms offering high-quality products right on site. Along this easy hike, you’ll experience traditional rural life at its finest: watch the chickens peck around, while cows, sheep, and goats enjoy the lush meadows and relax in the sun. Discover the charming farm shops, where a variety of regional foods and homemade products like soaps, pine cushions, or decorative items await you. These lovingly crafted shops invite you to linger and browse, offering an authentic shopping experience in the heart of nature. If you’re lucky, you might even meet some of the farmers in person and see them at work on their farms. The Leutasch Farm Shop Circular Hike is a treat for all the senses and a real adventure for the whole family.
Note:
Along the route, you’ll find both shops with fixed opening hours as well as self-service vending machines that are available 24/7. The farms can be visited either as part of the recommended circular hike or individually, depending on your preference.
