Klammen & Schluchten
The Schlossbachklamm gorge offers a typical gorge landscape with small waterfalls. Especially on hot summer days, the direct access to the water invites you to take a relaxing break. A real alternative to the swimming pool.
Starting from Reith bei Seefeld railroad station, the trail first leads along part of the old Roman road until the Leithener Waldweg (cultural hiking trail) turns off to the left. This path leads past the railroad line to Leithen station.
From here, a pleasant forest path leads down into the Schlossbachklamm gorge. Halfway downhill, you can already see the viaduct over which the 100-year-old Karwendelbahn railroad runs. Once you reach the Schlossbach, a small wooden bridge crosses the stream. Then you follow a beautiful forest path uphill to Hochzirl.
Once there, you walk along the asphalt road past the Hochzirl hospital to the train station. The way back to Reith bei Seefeld is either on foot through the Schlossbachklamm gorge or comfortably by train.

Sure-footedness is required for this hike, as the path goes up and down and is narrow and slippery in places.
Please note that it is only possible to walk through the Schlossbachklamm
