SDG 17

SDG 17

Partnerships

The 17th development goal is the basic condition for achieving all other SDGs: A turnaround towards sustainable development can only succeed through a global partnership with joint efforts of all states, civil societies, national economies and individuals. In our region, too, we will only achieve the goals if we pull together.

True to the motto "Together we are strong"!

Plateau pioneers
A total of eight plateau pioneers from the areas of nature park, tourism association and accommodation businesses are working with an expert for sustainable development (CSR/ESG) on an ambitious framework for the destination of Seefeld. In the area of climate protection, corporate carbon footprint analyses (GHG Protocol; Scope 1-3) are being prepared. Afterwards, among other things, scientifically-founded reduction targets will be set for the next five to ten years. Based on these development goals, corresponding thematic workshops such as sustainable food or mobility trainings are conducted with the participating companies.

Cohesion!

Partnership – Karwendel Nature Park

The Karwendel Nature Park encompasses almost the entire Karwendel massif and was expanded in January 2022 to include the already existing Arnspitze nature reserve in the municipality of Leutasch. With an area of 739 km², it is the largest protected area in Tyrol and also the largest nature park in Austria.
It has an above-average proportion of natural habitats such as primeval forests and wild rivers and is home to a high number of animal and plant species that are important throughout Europe, such as the golden eagle, white-backed woodpecker and lady's slipper. We maintain a strong partnership and very good cooperation with the Karwendel Nature Park.
