The Region Seefeld offers the chance for winter walking without the need for snowshoes. Hiking amidst snow-covered nature and surrounded by wonderful scenery. The wide-ranging hikes combine physical activity, vitality and a stunning landscape – one reason why this winter activity has established itself as a real highlight in the region. The first long distance winter hiking trail in the heart of the Tyrol covers some of the most beautiful places in the Region Seefeld.

Winter magic at it's best

The 16 km long, open Leutasch valley is renowned for its snow-sure winter months full of sunshine and ideal conditions for winter sports activities. Just one reason why winter hiking in Leutasch at over 1100 m above sea level is a special experience. Warm, traditional hosts charm visitors with delicious specialities, which make the taste buds as well as the feelings dance while guests enjoy the impressive panoramic views.

Less is more: Luggage service

A special service for all participants of the 4-day winter hiking tour is our own luggage service, which is included in both packages. This makes hiking the daily stages much easier. Luggage is transported to each destination before you arrive. Please note that no luggage can be transported to the Wettersteinhütte on stage 3.

The highlight: A night on the mountain

The overnight stay at the Wettersteinhütte is offered exclusively as part of this long-distance hike. A real mountain hut experience with breathtaking panoramic views and Tyrolean cosiness – have you ever tried schnaps made from blue gentians? That's also only available from landlords Hans and Beate. The traditional style of hut overnight stay is in a dormitory or sleeping alcove. Necessary items are listed on the Packing List.

4 Day Stages – 3 Overnight Stays

3 nights, from € 495,- p.p. incl. breakfast & resort tax | single room supplement € 75,-
2x nights in hotels incl. sauna, 1x night in hut dormitory or sleeping alcove in the Wettersteinhütte

*Overnight stay at the Wettersteinhütte mountain hut only with your own sleeping bag (light down sleeping bag) and pillow cover.

*Extension nights can be booked additionally.

*Luggage transport (apart from Stage 3 Wettersteinhütte) is included in the reservation cost for every participant.

*Stages will be hiked under participants’ own steam – this is not a guided walk. We recommend sensible self-evaluation and planning for the four stages so that participants can fully enjoy their chosen route and the marked trail network.

*Spikes and/or boot snow chains are recommended as part of the equipment! Changes to the planned route can occur due to winter and snow conditions.
