In the middle of the impressive alpine pasture and skiing area of Ehrwald lies the rustic Tirolerhaus at 1,500 metres above sea level. Directly at the mountain station of the Ehrwald cable cars, the spacious alpine hut here offers everything a skier's, biker's and hiker's heart desires in summer (June to September) and winter (December to April, with childcare): a traditional Tuxerstube and a Tyrolean Jagdstube, a spacious sun terrace and even a seminar room for up to 120 people.

Franz, the host of the hut, takes care of the physical well-being of his guests all year round with hearty refreshments and knows all the hiking and excursion tips in the area. On tobogganing evenings in winter, the Tirolerhaus is open until 10 pm, otherwise always during the operating hours of the mountain railways. In summer, e-bikes can also be safely locked and charged at the hut, you just need to bring a suitable charger.

STARTING POINT
The approach to the Tirolerhaus is easily accessible on foot or by (e-)bike on comfortable gravel roads from the pay car park or the Salzbach/Gaistal regional bus stop. From the skiing area Ehrwald you can also reach the alpine hut comfortably via
