Railway stations in the Region Seefeld
Hop on, arrive, unwind. The Region Seefeld is easy and comfortable to reach via the Karwendel Railway. Along one of Austria’s most panoramic rail routes, you’ll find three stations (Reith, Scharnitz, Seefeld) and two request stops (Leithen, Gießenbach). The line connects the Bavarian towns of Mittenwald and Garmisch-Partenkirchen with Innsbruck, running right across the high plateau – smooth, scenic and traffic-free.
Getting Around Without a Car
With a valid guest card, you can use the train between Seefeld and Scharnitz as well as the entire regional bus network completely free of charge.

Seefeld in Tirol train station offers full accessibility, including a lifting platform, level-access platforms and a tactile guidance system. From here, barrier-free bus and taxi connections take you to nearby villages such as Leutasch, Mösern, Reith and Scharnitz. The request stops Gießenbach and Leithen are also barrier-free.
