Directions:

This impressive winter hike leads from the Nature Park Info Center Scharnitz to the Pleisenhütte at 1,757 meters above sea level. During the winter months, the hut is open on weekends (from 26.12. to 06.01. continuously). On request, there are also overnight accommodations at the cozy mountain hut.

 

At the beginning you go from the hiking parking lot P2 (Länd) directly at the information center along the Hinterautalstraße in the direction of the Karwendel valleys. Above the Isarlodge Wiesenhof, the forest road branches off to the left and continues to the snow-covered mountain meadows on the Lablehner. After a relatively flat section, the trail continues steadily uphill in panoramic switchbacks to the Pleisenhütte.
