Cross-country skiers can enjoy around 245 kilometres of perfectly groomed trails in a unique mountain setting, offering routes for both classic and skating styles. In addition, special trails: night trails, dog trails and barrier-free sled cross-country trails are provided.
Skiing enthusiasts can expect a cosy ski arena with perfectly groomed slopes and state-of-the-art lifts in the region. 26 kilometres of pistes and around 34 cable cars and lifts promise sunny skiing fun with an impressive mountain panorama. There is a special children's paradise for children to try out their first turns. For skiing enthusiasts of all ages, courses are offered by state-certified ski instructors.
For biathlon athletes, the Region Seefeld offers the best possible conditions for extensive training. Europe's most modern biathlon facility has 30 shooting ranges, nine of which are fixed and in operation. A further five shooting ranges are available for air rifles on site. For newcomers and those interested in the sport of biathlon, professional courses are offered for all age groups.
A tobogganing experience for the whole family is promised by numerous natural toboggan runs in the region. In total, there are eight toboggan runs in the western part of the Karwendel Mountains around Seefeld that invite you to enjoy tobogganing. Even in the evening, illuminated runs entice you to enjoy a toboggan run in the open air. If you don't have a toboggan or sledge at hand, you can hire one from one of the numerous toboggan hire points.
The extensive area of the Region Seefeld offers the best conditions for a dreamlike snowshoe hike in an untouched winter landscape. Whether on your own, on well-marked trails or in a guided group – snowshoeing is an experience in itself. Equipment is available for hire in the numerous sports shops.
Ice skating and curling promise entertainment for the whole family. The natural and artificial ice rink offers enough space for skating and playing on the ice. For beginners in curling, free training is offered, which includes thorough instructions, rules and technique.
