SDG 15
Biodiversity
SDG 15 "Biodiversity" or "Life on land" aims to protect, restore and sustainably use ecosystems. This concerns sustainable forest management as well as the protection of biodiversity from habitat loss or invasive neophytes. Here, too, we have numerous projects that make a direct contribution.

Projects
Natural green spaces
Habitat loss due to land sealing/development and pesticide use are also a problem in Tyrol. To combat the resulting insect mortality, the tourism association relies on species-rich, near-natural green spaces – for more biodiversity in urban areas! We have already successfully converted over 3,000 m² of lawn into flower meadows. Synergies to SDG 6 (Clean Water), SDG 13 (Climate Protection)
Natural forest
The sunny Seefeld Plateau is surprisingly densely forested when viewed from the air. To ensure that this forest not only protects the air and water, but also becomes climate-friendly and rich in species, the tourism association is converting its own forest areas in an exemplary manner and imparting the know-how for sustainable forestry. Synergies with SDG 6 (Clean Water), SDG 8 (Sustainable Development), SDG 13 (Climate Protection)
