Alpine pastures & huts
Deep in the heart of the Karwendel Alpine Park lies the historic Hallerangerhaus (since 1901) at 1,768 metres above sea level. Nestled in a unique natural landscape, the charming refuge offers a wide variety of hikes and summit tours during the summer months. On the cosy sun terrace, hikers and mountaineers are served all kinds of homemade Tyrolean delicacies and tangy refreshments.
The hut is an ideal base camp for numerous Karwendel tours. Climbers also get their money's worth at Halleranger. As one of the most beautiful climbing areas in the Alps with tours in the area from the 6th degree of difficulty and the "Durchschlag" climbing garden (routes from the 2nd to 7th degree of difficulty), there is certainly something for everyone. Luggage transport to the house is available on request for climbing courses from the Kastenalm.
OVERNIGHT STAY
During the summer months you can also stay overnight at the cosy hut. A total of 76 sleeping places with 52 beds and 24 camps, as well as modern sanitary facilities are available. A seminar room for up to 20 people can be booked on request, as can half-board catering. Please book in advance, which is also possible
