STARTING POINT
If you come by car, you can leave your vehicle at the Karwendel car park (Länd car park) in Scharnitz and visit the Holzerhütte museum - with fascinating background information about the Alpine region, its alpine farming and the lush biodiversity in the extensive Karwendel forests.
