Running tracks

The village running loop through Reith and Leithen is a varied route that follows village paths, passes meadows and fields, and finishes with a short but challenging climb.

The run starts at the Reith information office. From there, the route heads right onto Römerstraße, winding through the village. Passing houses and gardens, the path continues at a relaxed pace toward the edge of the village. Just before the underpass, the Kalktalweg branches off to the left.

Here, the surroundings become quieter. The asphalt transitions into a gravel path, with the railway line running to the right. After a while, the route reaches the small Leithen train stop. The trail then passes through an underpass and descends along Kobesbichlweg to the main road.

After crossing the road, the landscape opens up, and the Leithen Meadow Path leads through open fields. The path widens, turning into a gravel trail that runs parallel to the main road back to Reith.

The final section is the most demanding: at the turnoff onto Niederwiesenweg, the route climbs steeply to the right. After passing under the main road and railway, the path reaches Lauserweg. A short break here is well worth it, as the view over the
