Seefeld Pedestrian Zone
Pure atmosphere – one of the oldest pedestrian zones in Tyrol presents itself as sophisticated, open, and barrier-free. Whether as a shopping highlight with over 50 stores, where personal service and individual advice are paramount, or as a gastronomic center with cozy pubs, restaurants, and cafes that tempt guests with dumplings, strudel, and more – the pedestrian zone in the heart of Seefeld is always worth a visit. Another plus is the excellent accessibility: Seefeld train station is right at the entrance of the pedestrian zone.
Stroll through the atmospherically lit pedestrian zone, be enchanted by the sparkling light installations, and enjoy the early winter atmosphere. Discover unique Christmas gifts for your loved ones and warm up in the cozy cafés and restaurants.
The pedestrian zone in Seefeld boasts a unique charm. The Parish Church of St. Oswald stands out as one of the most beautiful late Gothic churches in Tyrol. The casino, “Fortuna’s home in Alpine style,” offers visitors the chance to try their luck, and just a few steps away is the famous Seekirchl. Another highlight is the former Augustinian monastery, now the Hotel Klosterbräu with its own brewery, where guests can experience the brewing tradition up close and participate in tastings.
Additionally, numerous events, such as markets, festivals, and diverse concerts, delight all visitors and further enhance the pedestrian zone as an event hub.
