Directions:

From Seefeld to Scharnitz, or in other words, from the heart of the region to the "Gateway to the Karwendel." This somewhat more relaxed stage passes through varied landscapes and offers several refreshment stops.

Section 2 leads winter hikers to Scharnitz. The path to the "Gateway to the Karwendel" starts again in Seefeld's pedestrian zone but heads in a different direction. From Seefeld train station, go right past the village square into Münchner Straße, which you leave at the Seefelderhof (turning onto Wasserfallweg).

After a few minutes, the Wasserfallweg merges into Heilbadstraße, where you turn left and soon transition onto a gravel path. From there, follow the signs toward Triendlsäge. This charmingly located guesthouse, nestled between forest and stream, is hard to miss. From Triendlsäge, continue right towards Bodenalm (closed in winter) and then, left below the Alm, towards the main road. Carefully cross the main road and continue towards Gießenbach/Scharnitz. The comfortable path No. 6 runs parallel to the railway tracks until you reach Gießenbach.

Once there, cross the road again, passing the second refreshment stop, Gasthof Ramona. After walking through the residential area,
