Keep loose and wait for relaxations: If you are allowed to travel again in summer, the Region Seefeld is the first address behind the Bavarian-Tyrolean border. The sunny balcony above Innsbruck and between the Karwendel and Wetterstein mountains will attract visitors in summer 2021 with its well-known top level – and plenty of news.

Seefeld, 15 June 2020. 20 artists who accepted Elisabeth Gürtler's invitation to visit her Alpin Resort Sacher last weekend (11 to 14 June) were convinced that Seefeld offers everything that tourism researchers call "new values" and that is gaining in importance for people, namely sustainability, regionality, safety, conscious use of resources.
Spring has long since arrived on the Seefeld sunny plateau and the region is blossoming in a lush blaze of colour. With the melting of the last snowfields, the spring sun also reveals some of the things that the winter months concealed with sparkling flakes: handkerchiefs, drinking bottles, snack wrappers and other rubbish.
Risk on the mountain can never be eliminated, must never be suppressed, but can be optimised with the right knowledge and equipment. The decisive means to raise this awareness: the two-day SAAC BIKE and CLIMB Camps.
Sounds of nature to relax or even help you fall asleep are very much in vogue and have a positive effect on the human psyche, which is often stressed by everyday life. The Region Seefeld stands for an authentic holiday experience with real retreats and unique nature. This combination served as inspiration for the Sound of Seefeld for those responsible at the Seefeld Tourism Association.

Scharnitz/Schliersee. There is still not much to see of the "paths of wood". Very few visitors have any idea of the stories of the areas through which they lead their hiking boots or mountain bikes when they are out and about in the Karwendel or the Mangfall Mountains. But that is about to change. As part of an INTERREG project, the Karwendel Nature Park, the municipality of Scharnitz, the Bavarian State Ministry for the Environment and Consumer Protection and the Markus Wasmeier Open-Air Museum in Schliersee are dedicating themselves to the touristic preparation of the "ways of wood".
