Where the green heart pounds the loudest
These are the best Veggie-Restaurants in Seefeld
Vegetarian and vegan dishes have become an integral part of the Tyrolean culinary landscape. The same thing can be said about the Seefeld region. Over the past few weeks, we have tested all veggie restaurants in the area and listed the best ones right here.
1. Enjoyment without animal compromises at the nature hotel "Aufatmen"
At the idyllic nature hotel Aufatmen, we experienced the fascination of vegan cuisine at its best. The restaurant, which offers exclusively vegan dishes, has won several awards and is proud to present the diversity of plant-based cuisine at the highest level. The 4-course menu, prepared in an open show kitchen, is a feast for the palate, and also for the eyes. The combination of refined flavors and high-quality ingredients made our visit to the Aufamten a special experience. The restaurant is open to the public by reservation.

2. Brewery cellar atmosphere and veggie enjoyment go hand in hand
The time-honored walls of the Hotel Klosterbräu are home to a real veggie hotspot. Here, the focus is on sustainability in many areas and the culinary delights are no exception. The Bräukeller Grill & Veggie is ideal for anyone looking for delicious vegan dishes in a very special atmosphere. Here we tried an excellent vegan burger and many other culinary delights such as curry and bowl creations. The unique location made the meal an experience for us that appealed to more than just our taste buds.

3. All-round sustainability at the Biohotel Leutascherhof
Sustainability takes center stage at the Biohotel Leutascherhof. In terms of the accommodation, but above all in terms of the cuisine. The restaurant, which is open to the public, offers first-class, regional organic dishes with vegan options always available. The combination of high-quality organic ingredients and creative preparation methods nourishes not only the body but also the soul. The Leutascherhof is a place where enjoyment and environmental awareness go hand in hand - and you can feel it. We recommend reserving a table in advance.
4. A culinary high five
At L5 (L FIVE) in the heart of Seefeld, the focus is on creating unforgettable emotional experiences. Vegan "Schlutzkrapfen" were our culinary highlight, making us happy with every bite. The sophisticated presentation and careful selection of ingredients make every dish special here. The chefs at L5 combine different culinary traditions and offer a varied menu for every taste. With a mix of Italian, American, Asian and local dishes, vegetarians and vegans will always get their money's worth.

5. A trip to the land of the setting sun at WOODS
The WOODS likes to call itself Seefeld's international living room. And you'll notice this from the very first glance at the food and drinks menu. Guests can expect not only creative bowls and vegan makis at WOODS, but also a selection of excellent non-alcoholic drinks and cocktails. We were particularly impressed by the artistic presentation of the dishes and the sophisticated combination of flavors. They turn every meal into a feast for the taste buds.
With attention to detail and selected influences from Asia, the WOODS is one of the best (veggie) addresses in the region
6. Ropf 'n' Roll - a culinary mountain concert
The Ropferstub'm is an institution on the plateau. It's not just its fantastic location at the foot of the "Hohe Munde" that impresses us time and time again at this rustic inn. It's also the culinary diversity that brings us here. In addition to the fantastic vegan tagliatelle, the Ropferstub'm also offers a variety of other vegan options. An absolute must is the vegetarian blueberry pancake, which charmed us with its unique taste.
7. Alpine gourmet cuisine
In the Seefeld region, the veggie charm doesn't run out of steam - even at high altitude. Even in the mountains, you will find a variety of menus that do not ignore vegan delights. With a constantly changing selection of vegan soups and main dishes made from chickpeas, the Rauthhütte is also a place where you can enjoy not only nature but also delicious vegan cuisine to the full. An absolutely recommendable stopover for anyone who appreciates high-quality plant-based dishes in an alpine atmosphere.
The Rauthhütte proves: top (veggie) cuisine is also available on the mountain pasture
For hotel guests only
In addition to the Naturhotel Aufatmen and the Biothotel Leutasch, which are also open to the public for external guests, there are many other hotels in the Seefeld region that have a great veggie offer for their house guests. These include the Hotel Tyrol in Mösern and the Hotel Lärchenhof, where hosts Waltraud and Günther Holzer are always keen to offer vegetarian and vegan options. The gourmet breakfast with a dream view is a must-try!
Now it's just a matter of toasting & enjoying!
