Spring tips: The most beautiful places in spring
Colorful flower meadows, lots of sunshine and mild temperatures: spring is finally here! Where can you best enjoy the warm spring sun? On which trails can you already ring in the hiking season? And where are the most beautiful crocus and flower meadows hiding? We have summarized the best spring tips for you!
Start into the hiking season: Around the Gschwandtkopf
Finally, the hiking season is open again! While further up there is still (too) much snow, down on the plateau you can already unpack your hiking boots. Our tip for the first hike of the year: The round around the Gschwandtkopf. It leads past Seefeld, Mösern and Reith - and thus across a particularly large number of flower meadows and through the forest, where the birds chirp loudly and cheerfully. A real insider tip for spring!
Spring circuit around the wild lake
We can not mention often enough: The Wildsee is simply a favorite place! In the spring, you get a lot of sun on a walk around the lake, in addition, the squirrels are already lively again and in the Reither Moor nature is really blooming. An absolute must for families in spring!
Picnic at the lake of Möser
The same applies to Lake Möser - it is worth a visit at any time of the year. Tip: In spring you can have a cozy picnic on the jetty or on the shore of the lake and enjoy especially many rays of sunshine.
Sundowner at Ropferstub’m
We love it that the days are finally longer again and you can still catch the sun after work! At the end of the day and on weekends, the Ropferstub'm near Mösern-Buchen is a real dream spot: thanks to its location at over 1,000 m above sea level and the view to the west, you can still catch the very last rays of sun here. And with a fantastic view of the Hohe Munde and the Inn Valley.
Soak up the sun in Reith
Reith is located on the southern edge of the plateau and thus has an extra sunny location. So the snow disappears here earlier than in the other places and makes way for spacious, green meadows full of flowers and bees. No matter where you are in Reith - here you are really in good hands in spring! Our recommendation: on a hike along the Panoramaweg you can experience lots of sun, fresh air and the best views.
Along the Leutascher Ache
After a long winter, you want to fill up on vitamin D all day long! You can do that on a walk along the Leutascher Ache. The path is wonderfully cozy, families also feel comfortable - take a small picnic with you so that you don't run out of energy at the adventure playground right on the path along the Ache.
Spring hike in the Gaistal
In late spring, when the days are longer again and the sun is higher, the Gaistal is the place to be. Tip: until the huts are open again take the snack yourself. Or simply stop by one of the Leutasch restaurants afterwards.
Spring messengers: Crocuses and flower meadows
The first signs of the end of winter are the crocuses. In purple and white colors, they sprout from the ground within a very short time - and make great photo motifs. The crocus meadows in Leutasch near the church of St. Magdalena, in Unterleutasch and in Reith on the meadow next to the Seefeld-Wildmoos golf course are particularly beautiful. When the crocuses have faded, but instead the right variety of flowers shine in the meadows, the meadows in Mösern are particularly spectacular.
